Lohr Distributing Company was incorporated in March, 1964 by Mr. Curtis L. Lohr, to serve as the distributor of Anheuser-Busch products throughout the City of Saint Louis. Prior to that time, the City had been served by a branch that was owned and operated by the Anheuser-Busch Brewery itself. Curtis Lohr's association with Anheuser-Busch dates back to 1951. Prior to his appointment as a wholesaler, he served with the Brewery in a variety of marketing positions including: District Salesman, District Manager, Branch Manager, Division Manager, Assistant Regional Manager and Assistant to the Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Lohr's two sons, Ronald K. Lohr and Steven E. Lohr, joined the firm in 1964 and 1966 respectively. Each has served in every phase of the business and they are now equal co-owners. Ron serves as President and Steve serves as Vice President/General Manager. Anheuser-Busch Wholesalers, together with 12 breweries and a vast network of shippers, provide the most extensive and effective beer distribution system in the brewing industry. Refrigerated warehouses and computer-based inventory systems make sure our retailers and customers get the freshest, highest-quality beer available anywhere. Since 1964, Lohr Distributing, Inc. has been serving Saint Louis City the freshest beer in the industry.
